VGMobility: Accelerating electrification of transport fleets across the Americas
Established in 2020, the company provides turnkey electrification solutions for projects of any size.

VGMobility provides e-mobility solutions across the Americas and has a proven track record of successfully executing large-scale projects.
Established in 2020, the company provides turnkey electrification solutions for projects of any size, including electric fleet provision, charging infrastructure, depot design and construction, and asset management. It is uniquely positioned to support the decarbonisation goals of counterparties and enable the shift to electromobility.
In 2022, VG Mobility’s portfolio expanded as projects were delivered across Latin America. One of its flagship projects was the planning and provision of 446 e-buses, as well as the implementation and delivery of a new 33,000 m2 state-of-the-art e-bus Perdomo depot in Bogotá, Colombia. The charging infrastructure now includes two depots with 230 charging guns.
A new depot in Antofagasta, Chile, began operations in 2023 with its partner Copec Voltex, adding a further 40 e-buses and 40 charging points. This brings the total number of e-buses in the VG Mobility fleet to almost 500.
Partnering with municipal transport provider TransMilenio, VG Mobility’s new end-to-end energy solution provides a better passenger experience while displacing over 25 kt CO2 per year.¹
VGMobility aims to continue developing e-mobility solutions for corporate and car-hailing transport segments, such as projects related to freight and the replacement of car-hailing fleets.
